The War 2019 action thriller movie has made a record of highest worldwide gross of 2019 with 67 million US dollars, while its budget was 170 crore Indian rupees. Initially it was titled as “The fighters' ' but it was changed after an official teaser in june 2019. The thing that makes it more interesting is that audiences have got a chance to see two outstanding action heroes Hritik Roshan and Tiger Shroff together on the screen. The relation between both is as coach and trainee in the movie. The film is directed by Sidharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra.

Plot

When it comes to the storyline of a War movie, it has no uniqueness. The story surrounds pattrotism which urges one to save the country from terrorism and rebelism. Hrithik Roshan as Kabir Khan becomes a rebel, he had denied to follow the orders and he kills the important persons concerned with defence and security. Although the film does not confuse totally when we watch and regard that there will be a strong reason behind this conspiracy of Kabir that's why he has become violent and seditionist. To answer this question the film takes the audience to flash back where it reveals that Khalid khan (Tiger Shroff) is a son of an army officer who later became a seditionist of the country. Who was killed by Kabir Khan (Hiritik Roshan) after being informed to the army by Khalid Khan's mother.

Khalid tries to prove that he is a patriot to his country but Kabir regards him betray of his country like his father. Finally Khalid khan becomes successful to win the trust of Kabir, when he joins a mission in Iraq and kills some terrorists. Movie has a twist that Khalid Khan is dead already and Saurabh, a terrorist, takes his place by plastic surgery to look like Khalid and this character appears occasionally. It was needed to explore more of this character through hints or suspense. The story to some extent is interesting but it is difficult to believe that Saurab looks like Khalid but how he has maintained his voice and acting. The second fault in the story is that Saurab has no strong reason to be a terrorist and betray his country. In most stories a character keeps a strong reason like he /she might be psycho, he is worried from System or something else. But here Surab answers in only one dialogue “What this country has given me only 70 thansands, but they have given me 7 crores”. It is unbelievable how one could be seditionist against his country with such great passion and aggression only for sake of money.

Acting

With physiques and broadening of Tiger and Hiritik both are perfectly suited for this action thriller film. Hrithik Roshan as Khalid khan has the starring role and fits everywhere and plays it perfectly. Tiger Shroff who has already featurized many action films but as compared to those his acting was splendid here. Nainna as Vaani kapoor has late entry and little role but he impressed the audience with his performance and oomph. The back of films Baaghi 2 of Tiger shroff and Hrithik’s Dhoom 2

Visualness and action

Whatsoever about, story and acting but visualness and cinematography of movie is outstanding. In perspective of visualness and action it is comparable to hollywood action movies. Action, drama, romance, music, exotic locations, chasing cars and other cinematic scenes do not let the audience bore. Climax scene of the movie was shooted on the Arctic Circle, it was the first Indian film to do so.

Music and Background sound

The director has avoided to add unnecessary song and lyrics in the movie. It consists on only two songs, “Ghungroo” sung by Arjit singh and Shipla Rao and “Jai jai shivshankar” sung by Vishal dhadlan and Benny Dayal. The music of the war movie composed by Vishal Shekhar and written by Kumar. It was released under the banner of YRF music. There are also background sounds thrice are instrumental which give good sense. These are War theme, Kabir theme and Khalid theme.

Anyone who want to see this movie in the perspective of logic there is nothing for him. But there is a lot cinema and musical enjoyment.
